Who should attend:
Anyone in a manager or supervisor role for the first time or is established in their role but has not received sufficient formal training in management best practices. Experienced managers who recognize that times have changed and fear that they lack the skills to deal effectively with societal changes, should also attend.

Description of curriculum:
• Week 1: The Construct – Why are so many management problems the same? Why are things done the way they are? To develop our own effective management process, we must first understand the history and social construct that underlies all current management best practices.
• Week 2: Understanding your people – Humans are not random creatures. In this section, you will greatly increase your understanding of what drives human behavior and how to improve human performance.
• Week 3: Communication – Communication is the most critical function in all business transactions. In this section, you will develop a model for good communication and improve your own communication skills.
• Week 4: Leadership Roles part 1 – The four roles of a leader overview and the role of the Supervisor
• Week 5: Leadership Roles part 2 – The role of the Coach.
• Week 6: Leadership Roles part 3 – The role of the Trainer
• Week 7: Leadership Roles part 4 – The role of the Mentor
• Week 8: Performance Evaluation – A simple and effective methodology
• Week 9: Managing Work Relationships, Conflict Management
• Week 10: Managing Organizational Change
• Week 11: Staging Effective Meetings and Goal Setting
• Week 12: Maximizing Your Own Personal Performance, Time Management, and Delegation

• Training: 12 weekly live, instructor-led training sessions delivered remotely via video conference.
• Coaching: Unlimited access to live, coaching with your trainer/coach on the real-world management situations you face.

It also contains a suite of tools you can use with your team for many of your management tasks. There are hundreds of hours of content you can use for your learning and to train your team on key subjects.

• Feedback: One 30-minute feedback session will be offered to your immediate supervisor in the last few weeks of training to review your learning and implementation.
• Certificate of Completion: Proof of successful completion signed by your trainer.
